MQSeries on board.

Along these years we haven’t heart about MQSeries yet, mosty between professionals youngers. I can notice it when I start some topic about it and around me, I can also notice that it makes our talk a little bit borring. In fact there’s lots of reasons for that, and the first one is “not have plent of knowlede about the theme”. Based on that, I decided posting about some interestings information where we’ll find out why belong to this world and become it more attractive, mainly within’ your carreer.

Websphere MQSeries is a product made by IBM, and it’s not just a little tool of sending and recieving informations put queued and sort out to get processed for both sides.

Let me explain better. Websphere is an Agent which to send some information through queues and that one will do the job of sending that information to other Agent, where that information will be processed.

If you’ve got two or more kinds of system platform or hardware platform, Websphere is useful to do both “changing informations” each other.

There must be other platform which I’ve never seen, but today we’re gonna talk about Linux and MQSeries. So, grab either some emulator or some kind of tool where you could make a virtualization. I don’t recommend to install the Linux in a Partition because we’re going to install a oldest Linux Version. Red hat 8.0.

I’ll describe how to get your Linux prepared for installing MQSeries.
